If you are looking for a plant that tolerates low light, is easy to care for, and hardly gets bothered by pests or disease, Schefflera is the one for you. These beautiful plants conjure up a tropical feel without a lot of fuss. Bright indirect light is great for these tried and true plants, but if you have a tricky space with less light, Schefflera will not disappoint. The soil should be left to dry out on the top 2-3” before watering again, and as with all your plants, proper drainage is a must. If your Schefflera is in a pot with adequate drainage it will thrive. The new growth on these plants look like miniature versions of the older growth and are tender and lime green or almost yellow. Your Schefflera will stick with you for years and can develop into a lovely indoor tree with the right conditions!
